Cedar Hill Farm Civil War Reenactment Sep 29-Oct 1, 2017 Sat & Sun Battles, 2:00pm Cedar Hill Farm, 008 Love Rd, Hernando Step back in time September 29- October 1 at Cedar Hill Farm and visit Civil War era Union and Confederate Soldier encampments. On Friday Sept. 29 at 12:15pm there will be a short skirmish perfect for middle – high school field trips. The skirmish on Friday is set for after lunch so that younger elementary school kids can avoid loud battle noises. The main battle will take place Saturday, Sept. 30 and Sunday, Oct. 1 at 2:00pm, complete with infantry, artillery and cavalry. Attendees can walk through and visit the soldiers in their civil war era camps and see what it would have been like to live back in those days. There will be a Ladies Tea during the day, Saturday at 11:00am and a Grand Ball Saturday evening at 7:00pm. This is all included in the regular general admission. The big battles Saturday and Sunday will be at the very back of the farm so anyone with very little children that do not want to be around the loud noise can stay up front and enjoy the normal pumpkin patch activities.
